Laura and I want to personally thank every one who has emailed us, written as and called us!

I have really tried to be strong. But I broke down in this interview. We cannot understand the hate of the person or persons who burnt down our home. Nor do we understand why our Ins. Co. American National Property and Casulity Co. ANPAC for short has made false claims that we did this to ourselves.

We have always lived by the motto of, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” Or treat others as you would want them to treat you.

It is now, 2012, our home was taken from us in 2010. Laura and I have been forced to live in 3rd world conditions. We have had to bath in the lake or with a cold faucet and garden hose, we have had to did holes to use the bathroom, we have lived without central heat and air, we haven’t any kitchen, we have to live out of an ice chest. This is all due to our Ins. Co. American National not honoring our policy or contract. Yet Laura and I have continued to honor our part of the policy and have continued making payments on a burn site month after month as well as having to keep ins. on the the land and home that no longer esist and pay property taxes as well.

We thank each and every one of your for keeping us in your thoughts. We will stand strong and see that justice and the facts will eventually be reveiled.

West is an ignorant jerk. A black man making a remark about a deceased celebrity (another black man) who suffered from a disability (vitiligo) for half his life (as confirmed in his AUTOPSY); but we wouldn’t expect a political hack to have any sensitivity in the first place. Glad I don’t live in Florida.

NOM has said several times on its website that it doesn’t support civil unions. Chris Plante of RI NOM that he considers this another battle and that he believes civil unions is a step to marriage equality that we all know NOM is doing all it can do to defeat.

This bill does what ENDA does and then adds housing and credit protections, too. It’s awesome!

Forgot to mention that I am a transwoman living in Maryland and working to get this bill passed. Having seen discrimination that has hurt so many I firmly believe this bill will be a huge there steps forward. That’s two more than ENDA.
