Washington Marriage Alliance is a group of Seattle community-based organizers who want to find ways to keep Marriage Equality in the public consciousness. We work to connect other local groups, such as Join The Impact, on promoting grassroots efforts to further the cause of Marriage Equality.  All groups working on winning marriage equality here in Washington and throughout the US are welcome to be a part of Washington Marriage Alliance. 

Our goal is to get all these different groups and all concerned citizens to connect and work as a collective towards our common goal: funn marriage equality in Washington State and all across the United States of America.  We cannot win this battle if we quabble over whom shall claim the victory.  This fight for our equal rights is not about one non-profit, person or group.  It’s not about issues or referendums or bills.  It’s about all of us and there should be a place for all of us at the table when it comes to winning our equal rights. 

We are not just about marriage equality however.   We are also looking to promote other non-profits, events and volunteer opportunities that are in solidarity with the progressive movement.  Have an event and need to promote it? Have a community center or safe space in need of volunteers? Want to spread the word about what you’re working on? Let us know and we will promote your event, non-profit, group or cause for free!
